In this Swan Theatre Production, Hamlet is a contemporary staging, stripping the play back to its human essence. The setting is minimalist and stark placing the focus on the characters themselves. These are not distant characters from another age, but people who are familiar, here and now. Their fears, doubts, and desires belong to us all.
Music, newly composed for this production and performed live, creates a soundscape that amplifies the intensity and atmosphere of the production.

Swan Poetry Evening
Join us for our monthly poetry evenings held at The Eagle Bookshop - these free events are an informal and relaxed evening of poetry and prose. Held the first Sunday of the month from 7pm.

Costume hire
We have an extensive and ever expanding costume store. This includes items from the Tudor, Regency and Victorian periods to modern day and hire is available at very competitive rates.
